Virgílio gallery presents “Caldo”, the third solo show by artist Danilo Oliveira in the space. There are six large-scale paintings, a series of smaller works, in addition to four objects/appropriations, which explore various paths of pictorial language, from automatism to fields of color. The exhibition brings unpublished works created in the last two years.
Plastic artist, teacher and curator, Danilo Oliveira holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Visual Arts from the Art Institute of UNESP. In 2011, he was the technical manager of Paço das Artes, in São Paulo, and since 2002 he has taught free courses and carried out exhibition and curatorship projects in several important institutions in São Paulo. In the last two years, the artist has been researching the pictorial possibilities between abstraction and figuration, in addition to exploring means such as engraving, drawing, mural projects and installations.
