Gabriela Rangel nominated for MALBA's direction

Caracas-born curator and specialist in Latin American art Gabriela Rangel has been named the new artistic director of the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires. The position was held by Agustín Pérez Rubio, who will be part of the curatorship of the next Berlin Biennale, alongside French-Brazilian Lisette Lagnado. Rangel will be responsible for expanding the scope of the Malba collection, the temporary exhibition program, as well as overseeing the editing of the museum's publications and educational programs.
