Great artist Carolee Schneemann dies

Yesterday, 06/03/19, one of the most important artists of the avant-garde generation of the 1960s, Carolee Schneemann, died. In a statement on social media, the galleries representing the artist – PPOW, Galerie Lelong and Hales Gallery – reported that Schneemann died at home, surrounded by his 'artistic family'. His pioneering production in performance and experimental media marked his long career: almost 6 decades of work. Last year, the artist won a great hindsight that occupied the MoMA PS1, in New York.
