In partnership with Casa do Povo, the project proposes the construction of large crochet structures using mainly discarded materials generated by the Pinacoteca itself. The workshop is led by designer and craftsman Gustavo Silvestre with the participation of former students and former students of Ponto Firme, a project that has been taking crochet classes inside a male penitentiary for four years. 2 pm to 6 pm: “CAP Encontros” class, with Carolina Cones – Octagon
Created and maintained by students from the Department of Visual Arts at USP, this is a popular course aimed at Visual Arts students and the general public interested in art. For this meeting, reflections will be presented on the role of institutions as mediating agents and the relationship between the work and the exhibition space based on the Pinacoteca's collection from the 1960s and 1970s.

11 am to 1 pm: Povo na Pina – Ateliê Vivo – Octógono
Organized by Casa do Povo, the meeting proposes that participants take pieces of clothing and fabrics that can be cut to serve as raw material for the construction of the panel whose theme will be “What is a collective for you today?”. People's clothes and fabrics will mix and together, with hand sewing and embroidery, the group will make a textile collage.
