Bruno Múrias visa a solidificação de interesses específicos no seio da arte contemporânea, explicitados na programação que desenvolve e na seleção dos artistas que representa: Bruno Cidra, Isabel Simões, Jorge Queiroz, Marcelo Cidade, Nicolás Robbio, Pablo Accinelli, Ricardo Jacinto e Rui Calçada Bastos. Os trabalhos emergem de determinações próprias, ao mesmo tempo que partilham certas significações e simbologias, materialidades e motivações. As relações que estabelecem no seio da galeria são fundamentais para promoção de novos enquadramentos e de outras leituras sobres eles. A cidade moderna e a contemporaneidade, o espaço público e privado, a carga política e social, são pontos comuns. Bruno Múrias aims the solidification of some specific points in the bosom of contemporary art scene and its practice. Those points are explicit in the gallery’s programme as well as by the selection of the represented artists: Bruno Cidra, Isabel Simões, Marcelo Cidade, Nicolás Robbio, Pablo Accinelli, Ricardo Jacinto and Rui Calçada Bastos. The works emerge from their own determinations, while sharing certain meanings and symbologies, materialities and motivations between them.
The relations that they establish in the gallery space are fundamental to the promotion of new frameworks and other interpretations around them and to raise questions: the modern city and contemporaneity, the public and the private space, the political and the social charge are common ground.
