A Galeria David Kordansky foi fundada em 2003 com o desejo de descobrir e se envolver com o diversificado grupo de artistas que vivem e trabalham em Los Angeles. Uma das ideias principais tornou-se rapidamente usar a galeria não apenas para mostrar artistas individuais, mas também para realizar os diálogos, implícitos e explícitos, entre eles. A galeria cresceu rapidamente de um foco principalmente na arte emergente para um programa internacionalmente reconhecido com artistas que expuseram em museus e galerias aclamados em todo o mundo. O programa inclui cada vez mais artistas de diferentes gerações, para que várias linhagens históricas possam dialogar entre si. David Kordansky Gallery was established in 2003 with the desire both to discover and to engage with the diverse group of artists living and working in Los Angeles. One of the primary ideas quickly became using the gallery not merely to showcase individual artists, but also to carry out the dialogues, both implicit and explicit, between them. The gallery has quickly grown from mainly focusing on emerging art to an internationally recognized program featuring artists who have exhibited in acclaimed museums and galleries worldwide. The program increasingly includes artists from different generations, so that various historical lineages can enter into conversation with one another.
