The MASP and the after all
– research center University of the ArtsLondon
(UAL) headquartered in Central Saint Martins – start a new collaboration, based on the British Council's initiative exchange program aimed at building connections between museums, cultural institutions and universities in Brazil and the United Kingdom. The center, founded by Charles Esche (curator of the 31st Bienal de São Paulo) has the mission to discuss the work of contemporary artists and relate their ambitions to a broader social, political and philosophical framework. , at 11 am, Afterall's director of publications, Caroline Woodley, and André Mesquita, from MASP, will talk about how the center has been working to develop and expand its research, and about potential collaborations with MASP's public programs. The talk will feature introductions by Martin Dowle, Director of the British Council in Brazil; Adriano Pedrosa, Artistic Director of MASP; and Jeremy Till, Director of Central Saint Martins. The event is free and passwords must be picked up 2 hours before the start.
